Demand Switch - Every bedroom should be guarded by one
A demand switch is an inexpensive but extremely valuable tool to start making the bedroom a place where your body can regenerate. In Germany these are much more known than in Australia and we have not been able to find any mainstream shop that sells these. Our demand switch comes with a control light so you can easily verify its functionality in the home.
The demand switch principle is simple. When you switch off the last item that requires power (bed side light?) the demand switch cuts to power supply to the circuit it is on completely! This eliminates the electric fields around your bed. The demand switch continues monitoring the areas cables and power points, and as soon as a demand is registered (eg. you click on your bedside lamp in the middle of the night) the demand switch opens the flood gate and power is instantly restored and available. As soon as demand stops, the electricity flow is stopped again.
IMPORTANT: More often then not, more than 1 fuse in your meter box is responsible for the electric fields in your bedroom. If you just installed a demand switch on the fuse that reads 'bedroom', the chances are YOU HAVE NOT CHANGED ANYTHING TO THE ELECTRIC FIELDS EFFECTING YOU. During our room assessment we often find electric fields are a problem. We then, with your help, measure and identify which fuses are responsible for them. These are marked in the meter box, so that your electrician can be told which circuits to instal the demand switch on.
Low Frequency Radiation
is measure with measuring equipment. Especially the electric fields of electric cables (you don't need to be using appliances to get an electric field) behind, under and around the bed play a major role in this. Metal spring filled mattresses just amplify the problem as they conduct the electric fields even further to all parts of the body. So do water beds and other static mattresses.
High Frequency Radiation
is measured with measuring equipment. Picking up the levels in the room is only half the story, more important is how much of this is absorbed into the body. This we can measure too. If it was needed to shield you from high levels of High Frequency Radiation we have a select range of high performance products available.
Geovital T98 Alpha Radiation Shielding Paint
For existing rooms we have the Geovital T98 Alpha paint which is highly effective in shielding from high frequency radiation. Most people sleep on ground level, first or second floor and in that case painting the walls and ceiling are normally sufficient. (People in tall buildings could also be required to shield the flooring due to the height of their location)
The paint is simply applied where needed and a special grounding tape is incorporated which needs to be grounded. Test Reports confirm that T98 Alpha has the highest shielding effectiveness against HF radiation and also leads away domestic electic fields and static charges. Read More.
Fabric
Windows are a problem, but not when you use our special NOVA fabric. White in colour and contains a fine weave of silver plated copper wires to block High frequency radiation. The fabric is also used to put up a shield in front of build in closets, which can make painting that wall very difficult. A bed hung can be made out of this material as a solutions for those renting. Highly effective and still wonderful to look at. Read Test Report.
